This is a good link.
I just follow all steps and it worked.
Now pulse and skype and other devices can all run at once.

The grub updated and the blacklist might have done it. I set the region as well.
Here is the grub command
"kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.24-19-generic root=UUID=26c40688-b847-4b42-a64e-6f2d12ce959c ro quiet splash all_generic_ide"
Then ran update-grub
As root.
Have not tested quality yet but will do later.
