Examples of sites using drupal that go beyond the common drupal look

There are numerous drupal sites out there that do not look like typical 'drupal' sites. The bottom line is 'if the designer can dream it drupal can do it'.  Also consider that drupal has front page options so that your home page can look different from the rest of your site. This makes the common splash page possible.
